Public Liturgy: Sundays at 9:30am


St. Irenaeus is open for public liturgy on Sundays at 9:30am; doors open at 9:00am. Attendance is limited to 55 individuals; each person must register separately (including children). NO WALK-INS ALLOWED.

Registration is open from NOON Monday through NOON Friday for the following Sunday.

Enter at the main church entrance on the corner of Indianwood Blvd and South Orchard Drive

  • Everyone MUST wear a mask at all times and observe Social Distancing requirements.
  • Everyone will enter at the handicapped ramp. At the door, a Greeter will take your temperature and direct you to check in at the Registration table. ALL parishioners must be pre-registered. NO EXCEPTIONS. 
  • After you are checked in, you will receive hand sanitizer from another Greeter. 
  • Next, wait in the line, at the designated places marked with blue tape;  an usher will walk you to your seat. Per Archdiocesan guidelines, parishioners will be seated from the front of the church to the rear. You may not be able to sit in your usual place. 
  • Everyone is to remain in their designated pew; should a restroom emergency arise, please signal an Usher who will guide you to the rest room and then back to your pew. A parent must accompany any child to the restroom.
  • If you need to leave church before mass is over reentry will not be allowed.


  • Leave your seat only when directed by usher or greeter.
  • Maintain six feet social distancing in the Communion line – look for marks with the blue tape on the floor.
  • Sanitize your hands using the sanitizer from the usher. After sanitizing do not touch any surfaces.
  • Approach the priest only after directed by an usher or the priest. DO NOT remove your face covering
  • Extend a single hand to receive the Host.
  • After moving six feet to the right or left, remove your mask and consume the Host.
  • Replace your face covering or mask.
  • Follow directions from usher to return to your pew

When Mass is Over

  • Ushers will direct parishioners to leave the church from the back to the front
  • Do not leave your pew until directed by an usher
  • Do not congregate inside the church when mass is over
  • Everyone must exit through the doors at the main church entrance on the corner of Indianwood Blvd and South Orchard Drive
